Our Story
Sacred Waters Sanctuary is a developing retreat for artistic expression, healing and alternative spirituality. Located in the beautiful mountains of western Virginia, in the George Washington National Forest, our lovely seasonal creek reminds us of the ebb and flow of nature and ourselves. The land includes three acres of flat land, and seven acres of mountain trails. Sacred Waters Sanctuary provides a place to re-awaken a connection to the energy of the natural world around us.

Meet your Hosts
In 2012, Arrowind and Foxfire decided to escape the urban environment that they had lived in all their lives, and began the journey that is Sacred Waters Sanctuary.

Arrowind enjoys dabbling in many different arts - from dance and music, to crafting costume and jewelry, to cooking and energy healing. She is employed full-time as a professional counselor, with a focus on energy psychology. Arrowind brings intelligence, grace, and a knack for planning to the projects at Sacred Waters Sanctuary.

Foxfire brands himself as a “Jack of All Trades, Master of none”. However, his ability to get the job done is the backbone of Sacred Waters Sanctuary. He is a musician and artist, and embodiment of the Northern Shaman - Santa Claus. Fox’s strength and creative mind combine to drive many of our unique workings.
